CRP Automotive who manufacturer's and supplies OE hoses for multiple vehicles acorss BMW's product line has introduced a new thermostat hose by Rein that includes a metal flange. Typically, the flange connected at the cylinder head was plastic. Over time, corrosion would occur and eat away at the plastic. During replacement of the hose, this flange would break and require replacement. 

Utilizing a metal design, this allows for a solidified repair that it sure to last a long time. Additionally, the metal connector can be purcahsed seperately if need be without the hose.
