Through careful remapping to the DME Active Autowerke has increased the horsepower and torque by 15 and 12 respectively. Available for 91-93 octane we now allow you to maximize your car's true potential while maximizing your fuel consumption. Modifications to the a/f, ignition tables, and wide open maps also allow for an overall improved driving experience. With your new increased RPM limit you will be able to enjoy more usable power. With other off road options such as software for cars without cats, Active Autowerke allows you to maximize your car's modifications' true potential. This upgrade is a must for the enthusiast looking to maximize their naturally aspirated car's performance.

Brothers Mike and Karl Hugh were bred to play with power, it seems. As young men growing up on an island, doing things correctly for oneself became their ingrained credo. Their adolescent projects – bicycles and dirt bikes – were always the best performing. And that soon set the tone for the BMW tuning hobby they graduated to. By 1981, Mike and Karl were ready to get serious about their longstanding passion for a higher standard of BMW performance. Active Autowerke was born. Their motto at the time: "Anything and Everything BMW". They probably should have included “everyone” in there, too – since the endeavor was a classic family affair – with many branches of the Hugh family tree pooling their talents. The timing was ideal, and the company quickly grew as America’s motoring public developed a healthy appetite for the Bavarian treat. Soon Active Autowerke had grown into the largest independent BMW service center in Florida – with the most sophisticated equipment arsenal in the industry, certifications from leading componentry firms such as the Robert Bosch Corporation, and repute for setting the benchmark for service, integrity and professionalism.
Warranty Information
Active Autowerke warranties their products against defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the original date of purchase. Warranty applies to original purchaser and is not transferable. Exceptions to the warranty include, but are not limited to wear and tear items such as brake rotors, brake pads, flywheels and clutches and “garage sale” items (whose deposit sand sale are FINAL) Warranty will become void if: the product has been used in competition / racing, the product has been abused, misused, or improperly maintained, repairs have been made or attempted by anyone other than an authorized Active Autowerke repair and/or maintenance facility, repairs are required because of normal wear and tear, alterations have been attempted or made to the product, the product is classified as a consumable or the product has been involved an accident. This warranty is limited to repairs and/or replacement of the product or part found to be defective without charge. Active Autowerke reserves the right to refund the complete purchase price for the defective item and will not be held liable for losses or damages arising from the defect. If a part or a component from an Active Autowerke product, system or kit is found to be defective, this warranty shall apply only to the defective part or component and shall not require Active Autowerke to repair, replace or refund the complete Active Autowerke product, system or kit. Active Autowerke cannot accept freight costs of any returned merchandise to Active Autowerke for inspection and/or returns. A 20% handling charge for all returns may be applied. Under the stipulations of this warranty, Active Autowerke will in no way be liable for exceeding the original purchase price of the defective product. This warranty does not include the cost of removal or reinstallation of the product. No person or representative is authorized to extend any warranty and/or liability (other than that which has been expressed herein) in connection with the sale of any Active Autowerke product. Active Autowerke disclaims any and all liability for any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a specific purpose. Under no circumstances shall Active Autowerke be liable for any incidental, indirect, specific or consequential damages arising from purchaser's use of the product.
