The BMW N51 and N52 feature 3.0L inline-6 architectures with Valvetronic and dual-VANOS systems. While known for smooth power delivery and daily reliability, these engines are often limited by factory bearing wear, VANOS gear bolt issues, and insufficient head clamping when subjected to high RPM or track abuse.
